Unit Summary: Explorations

What inspires me to design?

My favorite flowers are orchids. They are beautifully sculpted and organic shaped. The luxurious colors influence me to design.

Here is a view of Napoli and Mt. Vesuvius. My mother grew up in a small town over looking this beauty when I had visited this image of mixed terracotta and tiled roofs always sticks in my head.

The Paris Opera House. The attention to ornate detail and lavish design.

Espresso the color smell and taste of it. The art of making espresso and perfecting the right pot always intrigued me since I was little.

Almost everything I design has a resemblance to the Fleur de Lis. Mainly for its curves and flowing shape.

I first visited my father's home town Petrcane, Croatia when I was five. Since this age I drew homes identical to the picture. I knew I loved this style and was greatly inspired by this little town on the Dalmatian Coast.

Here is a view of Little Italy in NYC. The sights sounds and atmosphere is unexplainable. I feel at home when I walk down this street eating a gelato.

Whenever I see this bright blue my face lights up. I am obsessed with IKEA. Half of my furniture is from here. I enjoy their concept of building and their innovation. As soon as the word IKEA is mentioned I immediately smell cinnamon buns and wood. I love IKEA.

The hall of mirrors in Versailles. This overdone beauty is breathtaking to me I enjoy every bit of the design of Versailles.

Barcelona, Cathedral Spain. The hierarchy created with the stretched stain glass windows is beautiful.
